Summer is officially over, and work is in full swing. While we’ve been working on a major new feature (more on that below), we also shipped some new updates that’ll help make work smooth and steady. Read on for details about performance improvements, better notifications controls, and a sneak peek at Echoes.

🏃 Performance improvements

Steady is all about giving you maximum context, fast. As part of that mission, we shipped some major front-end and back-end performance improvements that deliver 3x faster response times and significantly faster page rendering.

You’ll notice pages load quicker, navigation feels snappier, and the overall experience is nice and smooth. It’s all about making sure you and your team can stay focused and in the flow.

🔔 Your notifications, your way

Last week, we rolled out new controls that give you even more control over how and where you receive notifications. Whether it’s for check-ins, goal updates, comments, or mentions, you can now toggle notifications for each activity type.

Additionally, you can now fine-tune where you get these alerts. Choose any mix of email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams, so you can stay up to speed without adding extra noise.

💡 Echoes

We’ve been quietly working on a major new feature we’re calling Echoes, designed to deliver exactly the information you need, exactly when you need it, on a regular schedule.

Let’s take weekly 1:1s as an example. For managers with several direct reports, prepping for each meeting can be a major time sink. With Echoes, simply ask for a summary of your team member’s activity — “Give me a summary of what Jane worked on last week” — and schedule it to arrive in your Digest an hour before your meeting. Echoes pulls together all the key insights and automatically delivers a fresh answer to your Digest week after week so you never have to manually hunt down information again.

And it doesn’t stop there. Want a summary of all the PRs that shipped each week? Echoes can do that. Want a monthly report of any goals that slip off track, or just a high level summary of all goal updates? Echoes can do that. Want a weekly update on who’s going to be out this week? Echoes can do that. If you’re in a role where you need regular updates about something, you’re going to love Echoes.

We’re actively looking for a few customers to help us beta test Echoes. If you’d like to be one, reply to this email and let us know.

🗞️ What else is happening?

Thanks for reading.
