OneLogin
Note: SSO/SAML is available in our 50-99 and 100+ seat plans.
Setup and configuration
Before you get started, you'll need to let us know you'd like to enable your account for SSO/SAML with OneLogin, then follow the steps below.
There is a manual step on our end, so we'll need the link from the last step before you can start provisioning users.
Once we confirm that everything works, we'll disable password authentication and magic link sign-in capability completely for your account.
Here are the steps:
- Log in to your OneLogin organization as a user with administrative privileges.
Under "Applications", select "Add App"
Search for "SAML Custom Connector (Advanced)" and select it.
On the next page, enter "Steady" for the Display name.
- Optionally add our logo if you like, you can download it here.
- Click "Save"
- Select "Configuration" from the left-hand menu
- For "Audience (EntityID), enter https://app.steady.space/saml/metadata
- For "Recipient", enter https://app.steady.space/saml/consume
- For the "ACS (Consumer) URL Validator", enter
^https:\/\/app\.steady\.space\/saml\/consume$
- For the "ACS (Consumer) URL", enter https://app.steady.space/saml/consume
- Click "Save"
- Under the "SSO" section, copy the "Issuer URL" and send it to us at support@support.steady.space (or within the support chat).
Test with Steady
- Once we've received your Issuer URL, we'll enable SSO authentication for your account. You'll need to have the email addresses of the users in Steady match the users you have enabled for the application in OneLogin.
- You can test the configuration at https://app.steady.spacesaml/sign_in.
- Once you've confirmed with us that the authentication is working as expected, we'll disable conventional login/password access for your account.
